FestQuest is scavenger hunt trivia contest spanning the entire Festival, designed to give participants a tour of historic downtown Greensboro and teach them facts about famous landmarks, while competing for prizes. Clues leading to a variety of downtown locations will be printed in the News & Record in advance of the Festival and will also be available throughout the Festival area.
Players will use the clues to find posted signs with a QR code and a written symbol at ten downtown sites and can participate by scanning the QR codes with their smart phone or copying the symbols down on the provided entry form. Players who submit all ten QR codes or symbols will be eligible to win prizes.
Those interested in trying their luck at FestQuest will have until 11:59 on December 4th to collect and submit their answers. Those who complete FestQuest accurately will be entered into a drawing for prizes donated by downtown merchants. Leading up to FestQuest, hints will be provided on the Festival of Lights Facebook page and the Grassroots Productions Twitter.
